Abortion: the UK’s Cultural Imperialism

Cultural imperialism was imposed by force In the past, through colonialism. It involved using military power to demand obedience and bring about drastic changes in the conquered territories.

However, today, the West now uses subtle control and subjugation of third-world countries, such as those in Africa, to sell abominable programmes like abortion, legalised sodomy and Comprehensive Sexuality Education.

Meanwhile, abortion has remained illegal in some 37 African nations. They include Angola, Egypt, Eritrea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Madagascar, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya. There are exceptions when a mother’s life is in danger and often for cases of rape or incest.

Foreign, commonwealth & development office

The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) has unveiled a new initiative called ‘The Women and Girls Strategy’. According to FCDO, It is ‘aimed at addressing gender inequality worldwide’. This will be achieved by investing over £200 million of taxpayer funds into programs that provide abortion services and finance ‘pro-choice’ campaigns in Africa, even though FCDO officials know abortion is illegal in most parts.

Further, a local paper reported that the initiative launched on International Women’s Day 2023. It will donate the £200 million to the ‘Women’s Integrated Sexual Health program’.
The program will be managed by MSI Reproductive Choices (formerly Marie Stopes International) and the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), both of which are global abortion providers.

The women and girl’s strategy paper

The Government ‘International Women and Girls Strategy 2023-2030’ paper, released in conjunction with the initiative’s launch, highlighted what it called ‘the need to prioritise safe abortion,’ and described it as an ‘often-overlooked issue.’

Their goals include the ‘provision of safe and legal abortion services, supporting women’s sexual and reproductive health and rights, and increasing access to family planning services.’

UK funds Marie Stopes international

Official reports have revealed that the UK taxpayer was the single largest contributor to Marie Stopes International (MSI) last year.
The £46,716,000 handed over to the abortion firm from the UK’s Department for International Development (DfID) accounted for over 15% of MSI’s record income of £308,265,000 income in 2019.
Therefore, this is by far the largest amount attributed by one entity, with the next largest total being the £9,141,000 given from the International Planned Parenthood Federation.

Marie Stopes international

Marie Stopes International (MSI) operates with a network of nearly 9,000 team members across 37 countries. MSI is focused on abortion and has tagged it as ‘providing reproductive choice to over 80,000 people every single day.’ Abortion is their core business.

Given the above number, it means that the lives of over 80, 000 unborn children could be in danger in the 37 countries. MSI claim the services offered are dependent on the country they are operating.

Abortion is illegal in most of Africa

In November 2018, the BBC reported that Kenya’s government banned Marie Stopes International(MSI) from offering any form of abortion services.
The Medical Practitioners Board said it made the decision after investigating complaints that the group’s adverts were promoting abortion.

MSI understands that abortion is illegal in Kenya unless a mother’s health is in danger, yet they went on to provide these services. In Madagascar, even in cases of rape- the law does not permit abortion.

The Bible says,
Deut 27:25 Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Our research

In 2011, Christian Voice discoverd an article on the website of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. It was written by a junior doctor, one Lynden Stocker. In the article Dr Stocker admitted aasisting illegal abortions in Kenya. She wrote: ‘Whilst I was in Kenya I managed to organise spending 2 days a week at the Marie Stopes clinic in Kisumu. … They perform safe, completely illegal abortions for a cost equivalent of about £30.’

More recently the UK Government revealed they were funding 90% of the cost of those abortions. The £30 mentioned by Linden Stocker represented the 10% Kenyan customers pay.

The UK funds more abortion initiatives

In the meantime, the UK Government has pledged to provide financial support to various organisations involved in promoting abortion and gender equality initiatives globally. In addition to the £200 million, some of which will be used to fund overseas abortion services, another £38 million is set to be disbursed to two advocacy groups, the ‘Equality Fund’, and ‘Gender Links.’

The Equality Fund, based in Canada, grants numerous grassroots organisations championing woke causes. One such organisation is ‘WE-Change.’ This group operates in the Caribbean and is focused on abortion advocacy. The £33 million allocated to the Equality Fund will undoubtedly provide financial support to more organisations with propaganda that align with its mission.

Meanwhile, Gender Links, a South African advocacy group, is set to receive £5 million to advance its campaign across Southern Africa. This organisation also promotes abortion and expands access to the procedure.

The Bible says,
Psa 139:13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
Three thousand years ago, the psalmist said that was him in his mother’s womb, a real, 100% human being, with all his organs being formed and put together by Almighty God, made in his image.

The tag ‘sexual and reproductive health’

The UK’s International Development Secretary, then Alok Sharma MP, told a UN meeting in 2019: ‘The UK is committed to defending and promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights.’ Mr Sharma told delegates.

Pro-life charity-Right To Life UK said: ‘The government’s use of taxpayers’ money for overseas abortion is an outrage. Not only is there a cost-of-living crisis but abortion does nothing for women or their children.
‘Our government is continuing to perpetuate the lie that women’s flourishing is directly opposed to that of their own babies, and is promoting this lie in developing countries,’ spokeswoman Catherine Robinson said.
As the Bible says,
Deut 5:17 Thou shalt not kill. and
Deut 27:25 Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Continuous attacks on Africa

Sexual rights activists in the United Nations and NGOs are also using UN departments and international treaties to corrupt youth in the developing world. UN bodies promote abortion, sodomy, and other sinful acts. The UNFPA is the world’s largest provider of what the Daily Telegraph describes as ‘family planning supplies’ and operates in 46 countries across the globe.

Futhermore, there were heated debates in Ghana over the implementation of comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) for basic schools in October 2019. Civil society groups, religious bodies, the Minorities in Parliament, and ordinary Ghanaians raised serious concerns about the plans to introduce CSE. They asked for CSE to be completely scrapped from Ghana’s education system.

Even the National Islamic leader, Sheik Dr. Osmanu Sharubutu, described the move as ‘satanic’. He added that Islamic teachings do not allow sexual education for children under the age of 10.
